美味牛肉饼 Beef Pancake

Beef Pancake (Niu rou bing )

The Beef Pancake is a crowd favorite in Chinese dining and can be found on the appetizer menu of many restaurants. This easy recipe shows you how to make this well-known appetizer at home.

 

Ingredients

12 oz. ground beef

1 stalk scallion whites, finely chopped

1 shallot, finely diced

1 tsp. cornstarch

10 pcs. premade flaky dough

1 Tbsp. oil

1 stalk scallion greens, sliced, to garnish

 

Seasoning

2 Tbsp. Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce.

2 tsp. Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic

1 tsp. Lee Kum Kee Minced Ginger

1 tsp. Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce

1 tsp. Lee Kum Kee Chili Oil

1 tsp. salt

 

Dipping

2 Tbsp. Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce.

 

Directions

1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, seasoning, scallion whites, shallots, salt and cornstarch. Let the mixture marinate for 10 minutes in the refrigerator.

2. Lay out the premade flaky dough round, then add the beef mixture and spread until it is ⅛-inch thick.

3. Place another premade flaky dough round on top to sandwich the filling. Press around the edges with a fork to seal them together.

4. In a large skillet, heat the oil until it smokes. Sear and cook the beef pancake on both sides until a golden-brown crust develops. Remove the beef pancake and let it rest for five minutes.

5. Cut the beef pancake into quarters and serve with Lee Kum Kee’s Premium Oyster Sauce as a dip on the side.

 

美味牛肉餅(4人份)

材料:

絞牛肉 12安士

蔥白 1根(切碎)

小蔥 1根(切成丁)

澱粉 1茶匙

手抓餅皮 10張

油 1湯匙

蔥(切粒)

 

醃料:

李錦記舊庄特級蠔油 2湯匙

李錦記蒜蓉 2茶匙

李錦記薑蓉 1茶匙

李錦記海鮮醬 1茶匙

李錦記辣椒油 1茶匙

鹽 1茶匙

 

蘸料:

李錦記舊庄特級蠔油 2湯匙

 

做法:

1. 在碗中放入絞牛肉、醃料、鹽 蔥白 、小蔥和澱粉,攪拌均勻後放入冰箱醃製10分鐘

2.平鋪1張手抓餅皮,將醃製好的絞牛肉均勻地平鋪約⅛英尺左右在餅皮上。

3.覆蓋上另1張手抓餅皮,用叉按壓接縫兩側密封。

4.熱鍋放油,直到油開始冒煙就放入牛肉餅,兩面煎至金黃色後盛出,靜置5分鐘。

5.將牛肉餅切成4份,搭配李錦記舊庄特級蠔油享用風味更佳。
